After looking at Joe’s plane at the DOD Clinic in Monterrey, Mexico; I thought that I was with the wrong technology and concepts. I have spent a lot of money with different types of planes without really concentrating on one. I wanted to move to the next step but with the equipment that I was using it was impossible. So, I finally decided to buy the Wild Hare and I want to share my personal opinion. To begin, the plane comes with the new scheme and lighter wings than the previous version. The colors are very bright and have a nice combination.

The first thing that I worked on it was reading the manual, which is very clear and has nice pictures that you can refer to. My only suggestion would be to have it on electronic so you can download it and have color pictures. I made the list of items that I was going to need for the plane and started with the engine mounting, I decided to use a 3W-100 that I already had. I built the base according to the manual in order to present it on the fuselage. I started measuring the dimensions of the firewall and making a smaller base so I can mount the engine and move it to find the center. One detail that I found with this engine is that one of the heads could not clear the motor-box side so I decided to sand the side until it fit; being cautious not to sand through to the main firewall.

I aligned the engine with the cowl face and used the spinner back plate to find center. After this I drilled the wholes for the engine.
