| The wings came white, so first thing to do
was to finish the covering. |
The elevators came single beveled. It took
some mods to get this kind of throw. |
Had to peel back the covering, add material,
bevel, and recover. |

| Had to make a new rudder. About 4" wider at
the bottom and 2" wider at the top. |
Here's a picture of the Emcotec DPSI "ICE"
unit used on this plane. |
A shot of the 3W-150 engine and Supersonic
mufflers. |

| Mark Vogel programmed the Hitec 5945 digital
servos. |
Mark
programmed the servos on the bench with a
variation of my method. I really like his
method! |
They came out great! |

| No one is making exactly what I want for the
rudder servo arm. 3W has the right idea with
the deep offset and optional mounting holes. |
3W's arm is definitely not bad, but I'd like
even more resolution if I had my choice.
|
Fellow Ukiah club member, Gus Stutsman,
was able to make a bolt-on plate that would
give the rudder system the geometry and
servo resolution desired. |
