| Here's
how I received mine! And, this is what Mike
Hammel, owner of
Fancy
Foam said about it:
"The DOD Cap went out for a test hop tonight before the long journey west. Flew just fine with 10+ winds. Tossed in a series of TR, blenders, elevators and snap rolls.
This is a stock high performance CAP 232 kit like we sell on the website. Himax 2015-4100 with D drive, 12 x 6 prop, Hitec radio gear (of course). Etec 1200 3s1p pack. Weighs a little under 13 oz RTF.
Waterfalls, yes! Mine don't look so hot, but It will do them. Elevators are very controlled with very little rocking. Snap rolls and regular rolls are VERYYYYYYY quick!
Paint, Krylon Short Cuts. Paint job took about 6 hours (I took a little extra time on this one).
I put the CAP together "right off the
shelf" from one of our Hi-Performance
Kits."
"The High Performance kit price is
the result of many hours working with
vendors, buying in bulk and our belief that
this foamie thing is more than just a flash
in the pan. I can't tell you (and I don't
even want to know) the hours we have
invested to bring this to market."
