COMMENTS
Most every flyer knows that Composite-ARFs are great flying models. You'd have to get a KIT from Aeroworks or Columbo Anderson built by a custom builder who really knew what he was doing, or get a 3W Competition Version Extra, in order to have a 1/3 scale model that flew this well! Just about any other choice will leave you with a heavier, less refined, model. That's not to say that another model is a bad choice. All of these models have their pros and cons. The no compromise 3W competition version is going to cost you more. The heavier, and a bit less refined, ARFs are going to save you some money. In the end you just need to look over the options and decide what model is going to work out best for you. Also, to those who would say that composite models are harder to repair, I'd say let's just not damage it in the first place. lol And, you gotta admit, it's nice to never have to iron the wrinkles out of the covering! To those who would say they prefer a wooden ARF because it is cheaper and still doesn't fly half bad... I'd say yes that's true... I enjoy flying the 1/3 scale ARFs from Wild Hare R/C and Aeroworks, myself. But, if you ever get a hankering for something lighter, straighter, and easier to fly... try out one of these CompARFs. :-)
